Holden always wears a hat, that is red. He always wears it to hide his identity because he was always getting kicked out of schools and he was embarrassed that he got kicked out all the time. You would also feel bad if you got kicked out of schools all the time. Holden failed at a lot of subjects, he was only good at English. Holden is telling the story when he is seventeen years old and the story is about him when he was sixteen years old. Before he was scared of adulthood but later he isn't. Before he thought being an adult was tiring because he has to do jobs, but doing a job will get you money, and with money, you can buy stuff. Buying stuff is not tiring, only trying to get the money is hard but you have to be an adult.
J.D. Salinger married three girls, he divorced with two of them. J.D. Salinger did not like being famous, but he was because he made books, (if you make books you are usually famous but only if you make good books but if you make a bad books you might be famous also because people will think the book is horrible and tell everyone but having a good book is better). Almost everyone becomes scared of becoming an adult but later you find out it is not so bad because you can have children that you can be proud of. You need to become an adult, you can't fight it. If you wish nobody would become an adult you would not be alive because the first people on the earth would not have children because they could not become adults.
The catcher in the rye is an old book but J.D. did not die long ago because he lived longer than usual, he died when he was ninety one but usual men die in their eighties but he died in his nineties. One person said the catcher in the rye is one of the three best books in the world, he says the others are the Great Gatsby ( talked about Great Gatsby already ) and the adventures of huckleberry finn ( remember we are not talking about huckleberry so don't ask me and if you annoy me to do it, it will not work, seriously that will not work). The catcher in the rye was a famous book and if you make a famous book you will get a lot of money and with a lot of money you can buy food or other stuff to make yourself survive.
J.D. did not want to be famous but he was, ( he even has his own wikipedia page! ) most people want to be famous, but he did not want to be famous, he was a weird man, he hated movies he did not want to be famous even though he was, if he did not want to be famous why did he make great books like this one I am talking about, if he wasn't an author, this post would not exist and there would be no book called the catcher in the rye. Some people do not think that this book is not good but that is what they think some people think this good, but must people think this book is a really great book, that is why it is so famous because it is good if it was horrible it would not be famous and if it was not famous J.D. would not get a lot of money.

Catcher in the Rye
This post is about The Catcher in the Rye. It is one of the rare best selling books that is not made into a film ( So don't search for a The Catcher in the Rye movie because there would be nothing ). It was not made into a film because the creator did not allow it, but he did not allow it to be a film because he really hated movies ( WEIRD! ). It is really weird because I never heard of a person that does not like movies, this is the only person I know that hates movies at all ( SUPER WEIRD! ). I did not tell you the writer's name, well, now I am going to tell you his name, it is J. D. Salinger and the J. D. stands for Jerome David.
The Catcher in the Rye is about Holden Caulfield, the main man of the story. He gets expelled from a private school called Pencey Prep ( weird name ) and then comes back to his home in New York where he tries to make someone to listen to him for a few days. Holden is also scared to become an adult ( Holden is only sixteen years old and in four years he is becoming an adult ) but the bad thing is that he can't stop being an adult, he can never stop it. That is why he is really worried because you can't stop being an adult and being an adult is harder than being a teenager or being a child, because, you have to do work and get money and almost everything is complicated ( super complicated ), but the good thing is that you can have children and be proud about it.
The writer hates movies so much that Holden, the main character of this book says, "If there is one thing I hate it is the movies" ( LOL ) that is how much he hates movies. Almost nobody hates movies, like there should be at least one movie one person likes, like I like some movies and you probably like some movies, maybe the writer of the book did not like movies because movies in those days were bad. In the very first page of the novel Holden calls his brother a prostitute. Holden tried throwing a snowball at a white car and then he did not hit it because he says it looked so nice and white. In the book there is no action, ( no guns sorry ). Holden wants to stop time because he does not want to be any older and do complicated stuff and then he thought about the museum and then he said "the best thing in that museum is that everything stayed right were it was".
Salinger fought in World War II and that is long ago. He did not die in the war, he died of something else ( I don't know how he died but I know he did not die in the war, if you know how he died please tell me in the comments ). He died a few years ago ( remember this post was made at 2013 ). A lot of people think the catcher in the rye is a good book but some people think it is a bad book. You might not like it, but maybe you do, I don't know if you like it because there are always different people reading this post. The Great Gatsby Part 2
This post is about the Great Gatsby. The Great Gatsby was almost two hundred pages long and it will take a few hours to read. Any way time to talk about the story, Gatsby liked Daisy and he wanted Daisy to say that she never loved Tom at all ( but Daisy did like Tom ). Gatsby wanted to go back five years ago where Daisy was still single and he would try to marry her at her house. Nick's response to this as he say "you can't repeat the past" and then Gatsby says his famous line "can't repeat the past? why of course you can", but at the end of the story Daisy does not get married because he is already married to Tom and they have a daughter. Gatsby did not really care about their daughter, if she died he would not care much because he only cared about Daisy.
Everyone in the Great Gatsby are rich, but Tom is the richest of all and his parties are horrible because everyone are jealous that all the money he has. Gatsby's parties are great because he has the same amount of money as the other normal rich people, the only person in Gatsby's party that does not drink alcoholic drinks is Gatsby, everyone else does. Tom and Daisy are careless people, Nick says " They were careless people they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness". The Great Gatsby was made at April ten, nineteen twenty five, it was made almost ninety years ago, it is an old book. The book is probably older than you, it is older than me, (DUH!) it is older than almost everyone alive right now, only old men are older than the Great Gatsby.
Daisy and Tom don't really care about Gatsby or their daughter, they are really careless. They were careless because they were rich, because if they broke something they could pay for it. If they were less rich they would care more about things, they brake something they just buy a new thing but the thing might not be the same. Tom and Daisy don't even care about each other. Everyone wants a care-free life but the book shows the horror of having a care-free life. Gatsby is a little bit careless, he cares about people except for Tom and Daisy's daughter but almost everyone else. In real life some rich people are careless but not all are. An annoying thing about rich careless people are, if they like to break your computer they will try to buy a new computer but you will have to download some of your stuff again.
Gatsby thinks that if he wants a beautiful future he needs have a beautiful past and that is normally true, but sometimes a beautiful past can become a horrible future. The creator of the Great Gatsby is called F. Scott Fitzgerald. He and his wife were buried with each other and did you know that the final sentence of the Great Gatsby is actually on their grave. There are some films of the Great Gatsby, they made four movies right now and they are still making another one that is coming out at this year at may 10. The first film is really old, it is actually lost, it was made in 1926 and all the actors are probably dead because they had that movie a long time ago but all the other movies are not lost. The only lost one is the oldest one, it was made before you were born (that is a wild guess).

The Great Gatsby
This post is about the great Gatsby. First I am going to talk about the characters, the narrator is Nick Carraway, Nick grew up in the Midwest and later he moved to New York's west egg and then something happened and then he moved back to the Midwest, Nick is also rich, he is rich because he had a rich ancestor who paid someone to serve in the civil war in his behalf and that allowed Nick's ancestor to spend the civil war making money. Another character is Gatsby and we learn nothing about him in chapter one. Another character is Daisy Buchanan and she is Nick's distant cousin who lives across the bay from Gatsby and Nick, Daisy is really rich, she is too rich, thanks to her marriage to Tom Buchanan and Nick describes him as "one of those men who achieved such an acute, limited excellence at twenty one that everything afterwards savors of anti-climax.
Now I am going to talk about the story, Daisy and Tom ask Nick to come over to dinner and Jordan Baker is also there and they have a horrible party. There is a moment when John says "Were Nordics and we've produced all the things that make a civilization" but none of those people have produced anything. They did not cook the food and they did not even light their own candles. Daisy also talks about her butler that he used to polish silver for a big family in the city. Whenever Nick starts a party with Tom, the parties are always horrible but at Gatsby's house there are always good parties and once when one person was going home on his car he is drunk and then he gets in a accident after a few seconds after starting the car and even though one wheel is off he still tries to drive it.
Gatsby met Daisy before and he liked Daisy but he might of liked her mansion more than he liked Daisy but later they met again and Gatsby had a house of his own, he also has a car and it is gold, pretty much everything Gatsby had was gold, but Daisy already had a husband later. Gatsby always looks at a green light at the end of Daisy's dock, Gatsby wants to get to that green light and if he can he believes that he might get the girl that he likes and the life he wanted, Nick called the green light an enchanted object and this is true because everyone has a enchanted object in live. Gatsby had gold stuff because gold is the color of wealth and beauty, it is because well real gold is really rare in real life because you have to look for it under ground.
Tom always makes horrible parties because everyone wants the wealth that Tom has, because he was crazy rich. Gold and Yellow are enchanted colors in Gatsby and almost everything he was is gold or yellow. In The Great Gatsby gold is not only the color of wealth it is also the color of death. When Daisy and Gatsby meet again nick while telling the story he describes some flowers and he says that they smell like pale gold and that does not even make any sense, almost nobody knows what he means because what does pale gold mean. Gold is one of the colors that are in the great Gatsby because gold is the color of the rich, it is the color of the rich because well gold is rare to find and it stays forever if nobody tries to destroy it, it was less rare before but now it is a lot rarer.

Romeo and Juliet Part 2
This post is a part two of Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet had sex, even though they are young. Romeo and Juliet even got married the day after they met. Normal people will not marry each other that fast because it is just one day. They got punish for doing both of those and the punishment was death. When Romeo and Juliet got married they were happy but later they were really worried because their families hate each other, they hate each other a lot. The families even kill each other, they did not care that much because they hate each other, they never got along until Romeo and Juliet died. Both of the families are not good, they are bad, the two families always fight each other, all of the family members might been scared because there are enemies and they do not know if they will attack or not.
Romeo was weird because when he went to the party he was in love with a girl and he said he will never love any other girl but later Romeo meets Juliet then he falls in love with her. When Romeo thinks Juliet is dead he kills himself and then Juliet woke up and killed herself. When the families came up they were surprised and they stopped fighting. The ending is not good or bad because two young people die but the families become friends. The way Juliet's cousin died was because Romeo had a duel with him and Romeo won. Romeo killed him because he killed Romeo's best friend Mercutio and he wanted revenge so he killed him, ( Juliet's cousin is called Tybalt ). Juliet's parents wanted her to marry Paris, but Juliet already married Romeo so she drank a sleeping potion and after that Paris comes and he thinks she is dead and then Romeo comes and then kills Paris then the double suicide happens.
Tybalt wanted to kill Romeo because he knows that he likes Juliet and Tybalt does not want Romeo to like Juliet because both of the families are enemies. Romeo and Juliet were the only people that liked each other in the two families. It was not a good idea for Romeo to marry someone in just one day and it was a bad idea to marry someone that your family is enemies with. They kept it a secret for a long time, Tybalt was the only one to know that they liked each other, but then nobody knew that they liked each other because Tybalt was killed. The first girl Romeo liked was Rosaline and she was the cousin of Juliet. The whole story lasts four days. Romeo was married with Juliet for three days then they died but at the story Romeo did not see Juliet much because he ran away when he killed Tybalt.
If Romeo and Juliet did not get married they might survived, but they got married and then everything became bad. Romeo killed two people but he did not want to kill Tybalt because he is part of Juliet's family but he killed Paris because he started fighting Romeo so he had to protect himself. Romeo was not like the other members of his family because he liked someone that the other members of the family hate, the same as Juliet. Almost all the members of Romeo's family killed people, the same is to Juliet's family. Juliet was one of the rare people in the story that did not kill anyone. Romeo and Juliet was one of the best love stories in the world, but that is what most people say but some people says its not.
The first several acts of Romeo and Juliet is like a comedy but later it gets sadder. Romeo and Juliet
This post is about Romeo and Juliet, Romeo and Juliet is a love story were there are two families that hate each other and there was a party so the son of one of the families went to the party and one daughter from the other family went to the party and then they fell in love with each other and the parents would probably not want them to get married with each other but then the next day Romeo and Juliet get married and then a family feud happens then several people get killed, one of the several people that died is Juliet's cousin and then Romeo flees then Juliet takes a sleeping potion to avoid another marriage and then Romeo comes and then he thinks that Juliet is dead then he kills himself and then Juliet wakes up and she kills herself because Romeo is dead and then both of the families stopped the feud.
Romeo and Juliet was not made by Shakespeare, he edit it, like Juliet was originally sixteen years old, sometimes eighteen years old but in Shakespeare's version, Juliet was thirteen years old, he also changed some of the names of the characters. There are a lot of deaths in Romeo and Juliet, Romeo dies, Juliet dies, Juliet's cousin dies, other people die, normally love stories do not have any deaths. Some people say it is the best love story of all time and you know what the worst is don't you well if you don't know I will say it twilight. Normally the newer stuff are good but Romero and Juliet is old but it is better than other love stories, some people do not think that Romero and Juliet is not that good but that is some people's opinion, all people have different opinions but most people say it is good but some say it is bad.

Romeo and Juliet is an old story but it is still read, some stories are old but they are still read, if it is old that does not mean that it cannot be read, some old books are old and they are not good so the old book that is bad might not be sold anymore. How and Why We Read
Reading and writing are old things, people long ago used to read and write, but they had to draw on like sand, then leaf, then walls, then paper, the Egyptians, used to draw on walls, like on the walls of their pyramids, writing is useful because you can write like a book then give it to someone, you can wright about your life or a story and you do not need to tell them about your life or story because they can just read a book, you can even get some money by writing books, some people can just work by just writing books and selling them, if a writer is dead that does not mean that his books are not being read anymore, like some books are from writers that died more than a hundred years ago, if a book is getting old, a person can make a copy of it.
There are a lot of books in the world, some are not good but some other people might think they are good. Some books are good but some people think they are bad. More than a million books are sold, some books are really small like the book called Teeny Ted from Turnip Town, it is the world's smallest book. It is even smaller than your thumb, it is crazy. You cannot read it only if you look inside electron microscope, you can read it. I have no idea why it is that small, it is too little, there were only one hundred copies sold, there were not many because it is too small to read. It was really hard to make the book because it is so small, it was hard to write in it, I don't even know how they even write in it.
Books are good because if you are bored you can read a book and entertain yourself, writing is good because you can make a book and you can entertain others by asking them to read it and if they thing it is good enough, you can sell copies of books and you can get money, sometimes people make one book then they make another book that continues the story and you can make a whole series of books, some might not be as good as others, but if a person buys one of the books, he might like the first book and buy the next book and then the next book, he might even tell his friends about it and they might want to get it and they might buy the whole series. There are a lot of great books in the world some are better than others, but other people might think the others are better.
Scrolls are also stuff you can read. Scrolls are made out of paper, it is about the size of one piece of paper. Maps are also a thing you can read, you can read the name of the location. If we could not read stuff it would be harder because you can't read my blog. The internet would also be useless because you can't read anything, wikipedia would not exist if there was no reading, signs would not exist also, maps would also not exist so you would not know were you are going. It would be hard to be lost because no signs and no maps, so you have to go to random places and the world is a big place so it would be hard to not become lost. So we need reading, without reading we could not even talk to anyone because you can't understand what they are saying. Any way this is the end of my post.
